These are the two new, limited edition long wear luminous eye shadows from Chanel's 'Nuit Infinie' (Endless Night) Holiday Collection for 2013. (Click here to see my picks from the collection).  At first, I was going to snub these as I had my twinkly eyes on the star of the collection - the 'Charming' Eye Shadow Palette (review coming up).  However, I'm so glad I didn't because I think these are worthy of having in my stash of Illusion D'Ombres that I adore the sophisticated sparkle and texture of.  They have a unique gel texture that is both soft and cushiony and can be worn as eyeshadow or eyeliner.
Initiation (827) is a very stunning platinum bronze with a mix of golden and silvery sparkles to delight you with!  This particular one feels a bit smoother in texture than 'Fatale'.  It also applies sheerly at first swipe and is also much more sparkly in comparison.  So, really I feel sheerness is OK here because 'Initiation' is all about the sparkly goodness.  It's effect varies depending on lighting from a golden sheen to beautiful, tiny shining stars!  However, with a few more layers, you can build the intensity and give more of that glamorous platinum bronze colour.  This way, you could wear it on its own all over the mobile lids for a simple 'I'm out the door' makeup routine.  Alternatively, this looks amazing when patted on sheerly just in the middle area of the mobile lid and extending a little above the crease (but only in the middle which is the highest point of your eye balls) for added dimension and a gorgeous highlight.  I've been currently loving wearing it this way as a finishing touch over layers of colours used from the 'Charming' eye shadow palette from the same collection. ^_^ Stunning!  'Initiation' is a great one to line your lower lashes with, too.  The shade is fairly neutral to cool-toned, so I think anyone could pull it off. :)  It's also a lovely festive shade that's perfect for the upcoming holiday season, or for any other glamorous occasion.
Fatal (837) is described simple as a silver purple.  Its texture is a tad wetter and more thick and creamy than 'Initiation's' such that when you first dab it with your (clean!) finger, it picks up quite a bit more and so you get a much stronger pigment on first swipe.  'Fatal' is more about the pigment and has less sparkle than 'Initiation's'.  I'm OK with this too (as I imagine a lot of other people would be as well - if not, pleased), because just look at that rich, very autumnal, purple shade!  This has more of a medium depth, so it's very versatile.  It too, can be worn on its own all over the mobile lid, or layered on top of other like colours (powder or cream-based), or as an eye liner.  I personally find this one more wearable than Ébloui, which is deeper, more red and warmer toned.  I love the pink hue that comes through as well, which gives it its brightness.  'Fatal' would look lovely on any one, but especially flattering on those with brown or green eyes. :)
Packaging
Below is a photo with respect to my hand of the heavy, thick glass pot with black lacquer screw top lid.  All Illusion D'Ombres come with a specially designed shadow/liner brush (pictured in this other post), made specifically for their unique formula.  I've used it and I find it's very effective in applying the product with excellent coverage (better than with fingers, which need a few more layering because it doesn't pick up as much).  It's also great for lining the eyes with the product.  However, I must say I don't use it as often because of how tiny it is and I easily misplace it! /:-\

Below are the product description labels on the bottom of each pot.
Swatches
All swatches are applied on medium, olive (~NC30) skin tone and photographed indoors.

Comparison Swatches
Below are comparison swatches of Fatal and Initiation with other Chanel Illusion D'Ombres shades that are sort of within the same realm of shades.

Bottom Line
Both 'Initiation' and 'Fatal' make my heart sing.  ^_^  These are truly gotta-have shades for me.  You just can't go wrong with them, I tell ya!  So apt for the autumn/fall/winter and holiday season, too.

Hope this was helpful. :)
