Les Merveilleuses De Ladurée Face Color Rose Set in #02 - this beauty is not just about looks. It's amazing all round.
Le Blush Crème de Chanel in 'Inspiration' (64) - exceptional 'cream-to-powder' formula and a surprisingly gorgeous, pale pink that suits more skin tones than you'd think (yes, even my NC30-35 olive skin) [Other shades reviewed here]. I know where to look if I need a new cream blush.
Addiction Cheek Stick in 'Revenge' (05) - youthful and brightening, it evokes happiness!
Giorgio Armani Face & Eye Palette from their summer collection has the most exquisite bronzing powder I've ever come across. It has the perfect amount of warmth and ultra fine, subtle shimmers. It's perfect.
Mac Satin Powder Blush in 'Taupe Shape' from the 'Strength' collection is my HG contouring shade.
Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Powder [reviewed here and here]. A unique new product from Chanel that wowed me. I bought three!
Le Blanc de Chanel Sheer Illuminating Base. Sheeesh, Chanel have done well this year with me, haven't they?! Wonderful on its own or under foundation - it helps to instantly give a better version of me. A must-have.
Rouge Dior Couture Colour Voluptuous Care Lipstick in 'Deauville' (671) - competition for the *many* lipsticks in my 2013 stash was extremely tough, but this beauty made it through to the top. It makes me feel like I'm the face of Dior whenever I wear it. *grin*
Burberry Beauty Lip Definer Shaping Pencil in 'Bright Plum' (No. 04) - read my ranting rave about this here.![]()

Tom Ford Eye Color Quad in 'Cocoa Mirage' (03) - I was so busy using this in 2013 that I never got around to reviewing it. The texture is simply divine! I love it.
Suqqu Blend Color Eyeshadow in 'Konruri' (12) - my first ever Suqqu eye shadow palette and I enjoyed it so much I've recently bought another. :) Beautiful colour combination and it has blue! Blue anything never fails to excite me, especially when this one makes my brown eyes stand out.
Le Volume de Chanel in 'Khaki Bronze' - gives me the most dramatic effect out of all mascaras I've tried. The unique khaki bronze shade softens and tones down the big, 'volumised' lash definition a bit making it more wearable and interesting for day wear. I'm not sure when this "runs out" either coz it seems to never dry out one bit nor have that "off" smell!![]()

Chanel Le Vernis (Nail Colour) in Azuré (657) - this is a blue-green butterfly in a bottle. Wow. That is all.
Burberry Nail Polish in 'Ash Rose' (No. 103) - quite a contrast from Azuré, but apart from being a really, pretty rose nude shade and needing three coats, it's worth it coz it lasted on me a full two (yes, TWO) weeks before any minor (yes, MINOR) chipping occurred. This beats the Chanel record in my books. (Or maybe I should be applying three coats with all nail polishes to get this longevity??? ;) Alas, I'm too impatient to want to find out!). [Other awesome shades that just missed out on featuring on this post are here and here].
La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo - oops, I'm meant to include only newly tried products here, but I couldn't help but feature (yet again!!) this little face saver for the second year in a row. [Reviewed here and here, and possibly elsewhere, but you get the gist].
La Roche-Posay Sensi White Essence Triple Action Intense Whitening Essence - this really works for me and has helped to keep my complexion much brighter and help fade dark spots [reviewed briefly here].
Caudalie Beauty Elixir - the delicious, peppermint-like fragrance makes me rather addicted to spritzing this all over my face, neck and other exposed areas of the body. It's a great skin refresher for dry winters, hot summers and on an airplane.
2013 was the year for discovering ThisWorks brand. So far, everything I've tried from them live up to their brand name. These are two of my notable favourites:
ThisWorks In Transit Muscle Therapy - conveniently packaged as a roll-on. Adding the desired pressure while applying onto the sore, tense areas of the body help to massage the area and help loosen the muscles. The clove in the product really does help to relieve pain - for me, it takes about thirty minutes after applying and I feel soooo much better! I can't go out without this. I love it so much, I bought my loved ones one for Christmas. I was like...'you have to have this in your life'.
ThisWorks Deep Sleep Pillow Spray - love this - another must-have on the ready at your bedside or on the airplane.
Byredo Parfum Bal d'Afrique - darn it, this was a 2012 favourite, too.
Jo Malone cologne in Peony & Blush Suede - now this one is a 2013 new release. :) It's my first cologne from the brand that I purchased and it certainly is a memorable one. I'm not usually partial to floral scents, but this particular one is truly enjoyable. Very feminine. It's not overpoweringly floral and my husband reckons it remind him of a "summer evening" - "cool and fresh". ^_^ All-in-all, I think it will become a staple, classic of mine for spring/summer for years to come.
Diptyque. In all forms and sizes! Here are just a few with Baies being my most favourite scent in the Hourglass Diffuser as well. Looks gorgeous in the room and it's simply a matter of turning the object over to begin a twenty-minute fragrance cycle. I continue to discover more home fragrances from this luxurious brand.
I usually find mouthwash unpleasant, but Aesop's Mouthwash released in 2013 is an absolute delight to use! No more welling up in tears while mouthwashing! Yes! I love the clove bud, aniseed and spearmint flavour combo. I won't be using any other from now on. It comes with a really cool, old-school, little glass beaker to pour the mouthwash into, too. Unfortunately, I forgot to include it in the photograph. Bah.
A fashion favourite of 2013 has to be my Sperry Top-Sider Shoes in 'Platinum Gold', which I bought in the beginning of the year. I just about wore it every single day. I still do. It looks very worn now unlike in the photo above! But, it's still super comfy and well-loved. ^_^
Hope this was interesting.
Thanks for stopping by! ^_^ xo
