This is another fantastic product from By Terry using the same innovative water-based formula as the Cheek to Cheek Water Color Blush reviewed in here.  It's part of their new 'French Riviera' collection released this month.  This is essentially a sheer lip stain with ingredients to plump up the lips , but it contains metallic/cellophane-like iridescent powders in the liquid that when shaken and mixed through, gives a stunningly beautiful, metallic-like foil on the lips.  There are two shades available: 'Beach Game' (#1) which is an orange and my pick - 'Pink Palace' (#2).
"Tint to Lip gives watercolour brightness in two aphrodisiac and unforgettable sheer-neon shades.  These diluted colour syrups contain unique anti-oxidantcherrywater and plumping acerola active ingredients for even more irresistible lips."
~ By Terry
The texture is as thin as water.  It feels as though you've just eaten a heap of berries and there's a slight film of the natural sugary juices that have dried down on the lips. :)  I must say it' doesn't taste quite as nice though when you lick your lips.  There's a slight bitterness to it.  As for the plumping effect, I can't say I can see any difference I'm afraid. /:-\  It gives a slight tingly sensation when you put it on.  I also notice that the liquid is rather cool to the touch every time I use it.  So there must be something in the tube that keeps it that way.

Below is what it looks like prior to shaking.  It's a very deep French plum syrupy colour.
After shaking the tube, the iridescent powders mix through turning the liquid to a beautiful mulberry shade.
Below: thin swirls of iridescent powders running through the liquid.
The applicator is a flat sponge tip and has a fairly long wand.  The joint between the sponge and wand, and the sponge itself are very flexible, too so it will fit and mould onto the contours of the lips really well for easy, precise application.

Below: 4-5 layers shot indoors and in daylight.  In daylight is where it absolutely glows!  So pretty.  I've not come across this type of effect from a lip product before.  It can look even more intense than what is pictured.  I like to apply without shaking first to get the depth of colour on my lips, then shake the tube and apply a finishing touch to get the glowing effect.  But I only try to place it on the middle area of the bottom lip to make it look fuller.  If you place any iridescence in the outer edges of the lips then it will accentuate any fine lines, which isn't very flattering!
Because it's water-based, it isn't extremely long-lasting.  After eating a bowl of tomato-based spaghetti and a few drinks, there is still a bit of a stain left behind, but it looks very natural.  So if I put on 3 layers, then it would be reduced to looking like somewhere between layer 1 and 2.

There's a slight floral, fruity scent to it - similar to the Cheek to Cheek Water Color Blush, but not as strong and you can't smell it once it's applied to the lips.

The one thing I really find annoying about it is the packaging.  It's a bit messy, and I think it's because when you apply product onto your lips, a bit of the liquid runs down along the wand and pools inside the handle/lid of the tube (law of gravity).  So when you put the wand back into the tube and close it then leaks out and stains everything it touches!  To prevent this, you have to wipe the wand and the inner part of the handle and any excess outside of the tube opening after every use.  Also, because it's liquid you have to be careful not to knock the tube while it's open, otherwise it will spill everywhere!  With this in mind, I tend to keep the tube in a little zip-lock bag with a tissue for clean-ups after use - if I need to carry it in my handbag.  Not the classiest option, but certainly the most practical!

Apart from the lack of plumping effect and problem with the packaging, I'm very excited about the product itself and the unique effect it gives to the lips.  It truly is BEAUTIFUL!  Even le hubby has noticed and complimented on how pretty it looks.  YES! ^_^
