Chanel Rouge Coco Shine lipsticks are among my favourite lipstick formulas so it was hard to resist picking up two of three brand new shades from the Spring 2016 "L.A. Sunrise" collection.  I purchased "Mighty" (116) and "Energy" (118).  A bright cool-toned pink is my weakness so of course "Mighty" was a no-brainer for me.  "Energy" is a raspberry pink and it has enough pink in it for my liking as it helps brighten my face.  The third shade that I didn't pick up is "Shipshape" (114) which is a bright coral red.  I have swatched all three below. :)

On My Lips
For reference, I have naturally, blue-toned pigmented lips particularly along the upper lip line and the shades seem to give just enough colour pay off to even the lips out fairly well.

I love both shades, but I must say that "Mighty" is the one I've been reaching for the most.  The formula of the Rouge Coco Shines is lightweight, smooth, creamy and moisturising - a bit like a lip balm, but has more slip to it and not waxy.  It feels nourishing while it's on the lips, but doesn't really leave my lips feeling nourished once it has worn off, so I wouldn't use it to condition your lips unless you keep reapplying throughout the day.  The pigmentation is decent enough as far as sheer lipsticks go, but obviously doesn't last very long so you need to reapply.  I actually don't mind this as I find it quite addictive to keep reapplying - very moorish! :)  And, it's great for every day wear and it's easy enough to apply without a mirror.  Initially, I was worried that the bright, slightly white/pastel-toned "Mighty" would apply unevenly as I sometimes find with such colours, but I'm very happy to report that the pigment applies smoothly and evenly on the lips - for all three shades actually!

Below are swatches of all three shades including Shipshape (114) - photographed using my phone camera in natural light.
Overall
I highly recommend checking these out from the collection as they will serve as great everyday staples.  It's also a great and easy way to wear bright colours without it being too much due to the sheer, but slightly buildable finish.  I'm sure I will definitely get a lot of wear out of the two I picked especially, Mighty.
