Every year Chanel release a makeup collection specifically for eyes and this year it features actress Kristen Stewart as the face of this collection and photographed by Mario Testino. There are three new eye shadow quad palettes - only one of which is limited edition that I purchased (see photo above) and it is called Tissé Particulier (264). Upon receiving the palette I discovered it is made in France (instead of Italy which I've observed is where the best powder products are made), which unfortunately means the formula is of the old / original baked version, which in my experience is very dry and sheer. :-( Looking at it in the pan, it certainly looks that way, but I will confirm once I've watched and had a play of it. The new Stylo Eyeshadow crayons (made in Italy! ;-) ), which I love are back with new colours, but as usual only for a limited time. I restrained myself and picked up two of the five: Beige Doré (157) and Bleu Nuit (207). For full details of what's in the collection, visit the Chicprofile, or the official Chanel USA website, which has all the collection in stock. Otherwise, I believe they're now available in Europe like the UK where I purchased mine from (Harrods.com). There are a few repromoted items, some new limited editions, new permanent additions, a new mascara formula and new brow products, etc, so worth having a look if you're a Chanel makeup lover.
I'll post my thoughts and swatches of the items I purchased soon. Meanwhile, have a great end to the working week and hope you have a safe and enjoyable Easter long weekend! ^_^ xo
