Here's another new blue-hue for the tips from Chanel this spring! It's a gorgeous beauty, called Washed Denim (556). I've been really into muted colours and pastels lately, so this is a great addition. Like most Chanel nail polishes, on me, they apply easily and full coverage in two coats - evenly, without any issues (not too thick or thin) and the last pretty well on the nails. Washed Denim is a muted grey blue with a glossy finish. It's cool, it's casual and has enough neutral grey in it to wear to work (and, let's face it - probably the only way some people are gonna be able to wear washed denim to the office). There's three other shades (one limited edition) released along with the new re-formulated lip glosses - the Rouge Coco Glosses (which I will hopefully get a chance to show you soon, but you may have seen a sneak peek of a couple on my Instagram). Washed Denim is new and permanent. [Ommorphia Beauty Bar has all four new nail polishes swatched here].
Above: the square cap comes off and serves as a handy little tool to rest your finger on while applying the nail polish. ;-)
The applicator brush shown above is nice and thin for precise application and also makes it easier for those with narrower sized nails.
Below are more pics of how it looks on my medium to tan, olive skin (~NC30-35). I applied two coats without a base or top coat (mostly coz I don't have the time and I can't be bothered. :-P )
Bottom Line
I really don't have much more to say about this other than just grab it!! :-D I'll be wearing this a lot more I'm sure.
