As promised, here's some swatches comparing Chanel 'Taboo' to a few other shades in my collection: Dior 'Shadow', Chanel 'Vendetta' and Chanel 'Paradoxal'. You can see that 'Taboo' is unique amongst them.

Dior 'Shadow' looks just as stunning in the bottle, but unfortunately the shimmers and complexity are lacking once it is applied. :( Chanel 'Taboo' on the other hand, shines through. :)
Chanel 'Vendetta' is more of an eggplant purple compared to the much cooler and bluer 'Taboo'.
This one is just a bit of an arty-farty shot, but hope you can see the pretty shimmers in 'Taboo' (second from the left that's in focus). ;)
