MY TOP LIP GLOSSES

Hi folks!  I thought it was high time I share my top lip glosses with you, so here goes...

The lip glosses below were positioned in no particular order.  I adore them all and they are definitely the lip glosses I reach for the most, with Guerlain's Gloss D'enfer being the newest (recently released in Australia), but has easily worked its way into to my top fave lip gloss collection.  It's that good! :)
Left to right: Burberry Lip Glow in 'Tea Rose' (No.05), Becca Ultimate Colour Gloss in 'Flamingo Crush', Guerlain Gloss D'enfer in 'Coral Wizz' (440), Dior Addict Lip Polish Smoothing Lacquer in 'Expert Coral' (003), Chantecaille Brilliant Gloss in 'Modern', and Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in 'Rose Shimmer' (01).

Swatched (against my medium, olive NC30 skin) in the same order as lip glosses displayed in the first image: (left to right): Burberry Lip Glow in 'Tea Rose' (No.05), Becca Ultimate Colour Gloss in 'Flamingo Crush', Guerlain Gloss D'enfer in 'Coral Wizz' (440), Dior Addict Lip Polish Smoothing Lacquer in 'Expert Coral' (003), Chantecaille Brilliant Gloss in 'Modern', and Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in 'Rose Shimmer' (01).
Take 2.

All of the glosses have shimmer in them with the exception of the Burberry Lip Glow in 'Tea Rose' and Becca Ultimate Colour Gloss in 'Flamingo Crush'.  Both have very good pigmentation, especially the Becca one - this is fantastic on lazy days when I want a pop of vibrant, intense colour and gloss in one and I can't be bothered layering!  Guerlain Gloss D'enfer in 'Coral Wizz' has the most obvious shimmer, but it is ultra fine and does not feel gritty.  The others just have enough micro-shimmers in them to give a glow and subtle sheen to the lips without looking shimmery.

The more subtle colours on my blue-toned pigmented lips: Dior Lip Polish in 'Expert Coral',  Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in 'Rose Shimmer' and Chantecaille Brilliant Gloss in 'Modern' are more suitable for layering on top of lipstick or lip pencil.  Otherwise, lovely on their own as well for quick, natural and 'nude' lips.

Chantecaille Brilliant Gloss certainly lives up to its name with being the glossiest of the lot!  If you'd rather wear this more subtly, you can apply this just to the centre of the lips to make them appear fuller without having your entire mouth looking very glossy.

The beautiful, warm pink of Burberry Lip Glow in 'Tea Rose' makes it the perfect lip colour for me to wear on an everyday basis to work.

They all feel amazing on the lips.  Neither 'gloopy' or too sticky.  The Chantecaille and Clarins ones in particular , leave a balm or gel-like feel on the lips.  All the lip glosses feel hydrating on my lips when I wear them, and none of them dry my lips out once worn off or removed from my lips.

Chantecaille's seems to last the longest on my lips through sips of drinks and light meals.

If you are sensitive to scents, you may wish to try the Burberry Lip Glow and Guerlain Gloss D'enfer range prior to purchasing as both have a noticeable floral fragrance.  I personally like them. ;)
The Clarins one tastes quite sweet!  It's the yummiest of the lot in terms of scent and taste (not that you should be eating it, but if you happen to lick your lips once in a while, you will notice).

I highly recommend any of these lip glosses!

Hope this was interesting/useful.

Thanks for stopping by! ^_^ xo
