APPLICATION
____________________________________________________________________________
"The ideal Météorites brush is the perfect density to take just the right amount of powder. Apply the powder evenly to entire face to create a soft halo of light. Concentrate on the middle of the face, from the hairline to the base of the neck, to boost the highlighting effect."
SWATCHES
____________________________________________________________________________
Applied on medium, olive, ~NC30-35 skin tone and photographed indoors using a strobe. Below is a "before" application shot of my arm.
Below: After-application shot of my arm. I applied the powder fairly heavily (more than normal application on the face), so hopefully, you can see the subtle difference. /:-\ :) The effect of the pinkish hue is a brightened skin tone. It's more noticeable when applied on the face as a finishing powder than what's shown here.
To see how the powder looks on the face, see the photo of Christine from Temptalia HERE. You'll see what I mean. :)
OVERALL

This is a beautiful powder. I love how it instantly brightens my dull, yellow/greenish(!) skin tone and gives it an overall, even look without looking powdery. It's hard to overdo application. Also, I like to use this to touch up and freshen my face as it removes any shine or oiliness in the T-zone area that develops during the day. I also like that it doesn't have any obvious shimmer particles in it like the Météorites Pearls have so it's great for work if you're in a very conservative office. ;) Finally, I love the convenience of the compact compared with the pearls despite the rather hefty weight. Guerlain fans will sure to love this product.
AVAILABILITY
____________________________________________________________________________
Limited edition from the holiday/Christmas 2013 collection. I purchased mine from Nordstrom, but you can still get it online from Neiman Marcus - having checked it at the time I published this post. ;) Unfortunately, the compact is not available in Australia, but you can still find it in the Météorites Pearls form in selected Guerlain counters in Myer and David Jones department stores.
Hope this was helpful.
Thanks for stopping by! ^_^ xo
