A LITTLE LUXURY ORGANICS HAUL FROM NEOM...

A couple of weeks ago I happened to spot a little trendy shop that sold Neom products.  I was so thrilled as I'd been wanting to try this much talked about British luxury organic brand for some time.  Now I can actually sniff them in person rather than blind purchasing online.  Woot! :D  So, I went back last weekend to pick up what took my fancy.

I went a little nuts and bought three items rather than trying one small candle first.  Yes, the logic that I had before I went in the store went out the door. >_<  Still...I'm pleased with my purchases. *grin*

Instead of paraffin wax and synthetic fragrance, their candles are made from a blend of 100% natural vegetable wax and pure aromatherapy oils and that's it!  They're all hand made.  Because they're made with pure essential oils, when you breathe in the scent, they also work as aromatherapeutic treatments.  These candles also don't emit black smoke.

I purchased a small 75g (up to 20 hrs burn time), single wick organic treatment candle in 'Tranquillity' (pictured below and left-most in the photo above) as I don't currently own a relaxing candle for the evening and had been meaning to buy one.  This candle is an English lavender, sweet basil and jasmine scent.  

I was also after a morning candle which would help wake me up as I'm not a morning person.  So, the second candle I picked up is the 'Refresh' candle, which has Sicilian lemon and fresh basil fragrance. I was deciding between this and the 'Cocooning' candle, which also has a fresh, but slightly warming scent.  'Cocooning' candle is actually made for new mums or pregnant ladies to help treat nausea, but I just personally loved the smell of it.  Since the latter included mandarin scent which I know my husband does not like(!), I opted for the 'Refresh' instead.  Just between us, I reckon I'll pick that one up in future just for me in my study. ;)

I wanted the single-wick 'Refresh' candle as well, but the store only had the larger, 3 wick, 380g (up to 50 hrs burn time), so the lovely store manager offered 20% off for the large size.  Well, how could I resist that?  ^_^

Last, but not least, I purchased their 'Real Luxury' Organic Body Scrub, which has lavender, jasmine and Brazilian rosewood.  Note, you can also purchase their fragrances (e.g., 'Real Luxury', 'Tranquility', etc in other products like body scrubs, bath and shower oil to name a couple - not just in candle form).  The body scrub is made with 97% certified organic ingredients.  It has "an organic sugar base mixed with the finest oils including Safflower and Jojoba with Vitamin E for extra skin softening.  The pure essential oils of Real Luxury scent have been added to make this a truly pampering, skin smoothing treat".

"This product does not contain petrochemicals, parabens, SLS, PEGs or Silicone.  It is not tested on animals and no animal products are used, so it's suitable for vegetarians.  It's also non GMO."

I'm about to run out of my current body scrub (which I love), but I'm looking forward to trying this one out for the first time.  I think it's good to try something new (beside the fact I'm a beauty blogger and is inevitable!) and see what works for me best and likely to repurchase again when it runs out.

This one is quite a large tub containing 332 g / 11.7 oz (US).
