Tom Ford have released its new range of matte lip colours and there are currently 8 shades available. I picked up 4 last month when Harrods.com were having a 10% off sale. :)
The Tom Ford Lip Color Matte lipsticks are packaged in the same way as its Lip Color range, which I love taking photos of coz together, they look like building blocks. Masculine in form and ultra luxurious.
Below are the product description labels on the bottom of the lipsticks.
The colours I picked up were: Pink Tease (03), Pussycat (04), Plum Lush (05) and First Time (09). The latter is a limited edition shade.
Pink Tease (03) is a cool-toned, pale pink.
Pussycat (04) is a medium to dark mauve. A typically, autumnal shade - it's darker, but similar to my natural lip colour so it's also a great everyday colour.
Plum Lush (05) is a gorgeous, bright berry shade.
First Time (09) is a pale peach. It's a great nude lipstick that surprisingly doesn't wash my current medium to tan, olive skin tone. It has just enough colour and brightness to it to stop it from doing so.

For reference, all swatches are applied on my current medium to tan, olive skin and photographed indoors under artificial lighting and using a strobe.

Application, Pigmentation, Feel & Wear
First Time and Pink Tease are the most difficult to apply because they have a creamy texture and tend to move around my lips. You need to blot it down or dab the edges with a clean finger to finish it off so it removes any excess and gives a more even coverage. This is necessary especially if you have naturally darker, pigmented lips like I do. Typically, the lighter shades of First Time and Pink Tease also have the least wear time - still not bad at around 4 hours wear. Pink Tease is a pretty, feminine shade, but it does tend to accentuate the lines on my lips, so make sure you exfoliate and condition your lips well before-hand with a moisturising lip balm such as Nuxe Rêve de Miel, which has a matte finish or a lip primer.
Pussycat and Plum Lush were both a breeze to apply - gliding on the lips smoothly. They also felt the most comfortable to wear and they (Plum Lush especially) lasted from morning through until I took them off late in the evening. Plum Lush in particular, doesn't budge! Both looked great on the lips - more of a satin to matte finish.
All shades have excellent pigmentation and coverage.
I currently do not have dehydrated lips, but like a lot of matte lip formulas, I feel these were a bit drying to my lips, especially the two lighter shades - though not intolerable. I probably would not recommend this formula to those with dehydrated (often prone to chapped) lips.
Overall
My favourite is Plum Lush - I haven't been able to stop wearing this lately! It brightens my olive complexion and makes me happy. :) I'm sure this is going to be one of my go-to, bright lipsticks and will reside in my makeup bag for some time. Pussycat is my second favourite and see it as one of those reliable, neutral everyday shades. I'm not usually a nude lipstick fan, but I think First Time is a great peach nude - one of the few that look good on me. Pink Tease is my least favourite - mostly because it accentuates my lip lines (even ones you didn't know about! /:-\)
Overall, Tom Ford's Lip Color Matte Lipsticks are a must-have for luxury lipstick lovers, but I highly recommend picking up at least one of the deeper or brighter colours just because they apply the best and feel the most comfortable to wear. Plum Lush in particular! ;-)

Hope this helps! :)
