Pretty excited to unbox the first Mecca Beauty Loop Level 3 Box for 2015 (there are four given out every year). This box contains one full-sized product, two deluxe/mini-sized products and two sample-sized products:

I adore cute-sized minis just as much as full-size products. I always find them handy for travelling. This one has a sifter inside for controlled powder dispensing just like the full-sized version. I know this powder has had great reviews, so I'm very excited indeed to try this.
// Mini Mecca Cosmetica Clean Slate Makeup Remover (35 ml / 1.18 fl. oz)
This claims to be a gentle formula that removes all traces of makeup (even waterproof) and is suitable for eyes, face and lips. It also seems to have a clear, water-like consistency, which you apply with a cotton pad with no rinsing required. It would be interesting to see how this compares with other similar products on the market including the much widely loved Bioderma Sensibio or Créaline H20.
// Tocca Eau de Parfum in Cleopatra (0.05 fl. oz / 1.5 ml sample vial)
My first chance to try a Tocca fragarance. This one is "inspired by the Mediterranean seductress, Cleopatra captivates the senses". The fragrance is described as "fresh, sparkling grapefruit and lush greens fade into accords of sensual white jasmine and tuberose; leaving an exotic rich dry down of warm patchouli, golden amber and rich vanilla musk".
To me, my first, quick first impression is that it smells kinda pleasant, but "old school" if you know what I mean, and I think that's largely due to the vanilla musk I'm picking up. It's not offensive, but it's not something I'd personally go for. ;)
// Verso Super Facial Serum with Retinol 8 (2 ml / 0.07 fl. oz sample sachet)
A brand from Stockholm. This particular product is "a super facial serum with a high dose of Retinol 8 complex for a maximum anti-ageing effect but gentle enough for daily use."
// Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner in Cobalt (Full size 0.28 g / 0.01 oz)
Uber bright, fun shade - but it's blue, so I'm game. ;) I just gotta learn to remember that the pencil can only be twisted one way - i.e., to dispense product. You cannot retract it. >_< I've ruined a couple of Stila smudge sticks in the past when I hadn't realised it!
There you go! I always look forward to these boxes as it's a great way to try new products/brands and hopefully discover new loves to purchase.
