Chanel Le Vernis in Rose Moiré (593) is one of two new nail polishes from the latest Chanel Rouge Allure Moiré Collection, which was officially released on Australian shores on the 1st of September. :) I purchased 3 items (both nail polishes and a new Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss - review coming). Colour
Rose Moiré is a pale pearly rose. Upon very close inspection under full sunlight, you can see multi-coloured micro-shimmers.
Packaging
Like the rest of Chanel's nail polishes, it comes in a square-shaped glass bottle. The top cap comes off and is handy to rest your finger tip on during application. :)
The brush applicator is thin allowing precise application of the nail polish.
Consistency & Application
Similar to Rouge Moiré, the consistency is neither too thick or too thin, making it quick and easy to apply. You can also get away with wearing this with just a single coat. :) Others may want to apply a second for good measure particularly if you want a little more coverage to make the nail line less obvious (if you have longer nails). You may notice the slight brush strokes if you don't apply carefully, but this doesn't bother me personally - also I think its pearlescent finish tends to detract attention from that.
On My Nails
On My Nails
On my nails below, I applied only a single coat of Rose Moiré! For reference, I have medium, olive (~NC30) skin tone, and photographed indoors under artificial lighting and using a strobe.
Up close.
Comparison Swatches
Initially, I was worried that Rose Moiré was going to be too similar to Dior Destin (382) from the Dior Fall 2013 Collection, but thankfully they are not as you can see from the photo below. The latter is much deeper and is more of a rose/mauve taupe shade. Phew! Rose Moiré has a similar pearly finish to Chanel Sky Line and Quartz, with the latter having the same, but more visible mult-coloured shimmers.

All Chanel nail products are formaldehyde-free, toluene-free and DBP-free.
Longevity
I usually find most Chanel nail polishes on their own last up to a week on me, but Rose Moiré - with only a single coat applied and no base or top-coat, I found it had very minor tip wear the following day, so I recommend applying a second layer and top coat to make it last longer.
Bottom Line
A low maintenance nail polish for everyday / office-wear, that's even soft and pretty enough for a wedding.
Hope this was helpful.
Thanks for stopping by! ^_^ xo
